What is the difference between SLP and RLM tariffs?
SLP stands for standard load profile: the grid operator assumes a typical consumption pattern, which applies to households and most small businesses. RLM stands for registering power metering: the meter records consumption every 15 minutes for electricity and every hour for gas. RLM is mandatory from 100,000 kWh a year for electricity and from 1.5 million kWh or 500 kW of capacity for gas. RLM customers get individual offers instead of list prices.
What is a commercial tariff?
An electricity or gas tariff for businesses rather than private households. As long as a business stays below the RLM threshold, it is billed like a household on a standard load profile, but on commercial terms. Many businesses have been paying a commercial tariff for years that nobody has checked. That is exactly where we compare.
